I was very skeptical about the vacuum but decided to take a chance and it works great! Also, it's the only company I've seen that sells it. As you know, trying to brush off erased pencil dust can leave stains, and you end up scattering this stuff all over your desk and floor, which can make a real mess. The vacuum cleaner is very useful for collecting dust without leaving any traces on your drawing. Eraser and sharpener work well too. so it's really a good deal. Another reviewer said the sharpener doesn't work very well, but that's not my experience at all. after sharpening a new set of 120 colored pencils (wax, watercolour) plus a set of 12 graphite pencils I can say it works very well. But two things stand out to me about the negative rating. First, when assembling sharpeners, it's easy to mix them up. It's okay, you just have to be careful what you do. but if you misalign it, the pencils will not sharpen properly. Another thought I had was that I had tried this with some charcoal pencils and it didn't work at all, they kept breaking. So if you are using charcoal pencils or possibly poor quality pencils your ability to sharpen them may be affected. So I don't know why they had trouble sharpening their pencils, but it works great for me. I loved this set so much I bought it for my mom who loves adult coloring books. She loves this set too. I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who uses regular pencils.
