I am moving across the country and bought these to track my car and items that ship separately. The instructions clearly state to charge the battery for 12 hours until the blinking light stops blinking and becomes constant. I charged the battery for 24 hours and the light stopped blinking. I was happy to see how snugly the device sits in my home, it placed the device perfectly. I've set the device to send a signal every 4 hours according to the instructions, this should give me around 30 days of tracking. I put the device in my car and drove it 20 miles to a vehicle depot. I checked the app and it still showed this in my house. I wasn't worried because it hadn't been 4 hours. Later that night he was still showing it at my house and I knew something was wrong. The next morning I call Tracki and ask what could be going on. The person who took the call was nice, logged into my device and told me that 1) the device was set to Wi-Fi and not GPS and therefore showed it in my house where it was set up - EVERYWHERE NOTHING THERE ARE NO INSTRUCTIONS THAT MENTION WIFI OR MAKE SURE IT IS SET TO GPS. I was told they could reset it remotely, but I might have to turn off and restart the device. THE PROBLEM IS, MY DEVICE WAS NOW ELSEWHERE that I didn't know because Tracki wasn't tracking. 2) BATTERY NOW 31% is 24 hours not 24 days after I activated the device. Even if it worked, it wouldn't take 2 days. This device is lost. My only hope is to see him again when my car reaches my destination. We can currently only guess if and when this will happen. Thank you Tracki. The other two devices that I wanted to put with my belongings are to be taken away by the movers that I am bringing back. Everything stated on Revain about battery life is an illusion. The instructions are so incomplete that they render the device unusable. Purchase at your own risk. One last thing, the person who took my call to Tracki told me that their boss would call me back later when they got to the office. I'm still waiting. Thanks again tracks.
