As long as you don't point it at a light source while it's mounted on the Olympus body, you'll love it. I shoot with an Olympus OM-D E-M5 and it works really well. It's very sharp across the entire image, with almost no distortion and no chromatic aberration. It outperforms my Canon L glass and other similar caliber lenses! However, the purple glow is definitely a problem. If I have a light source in the frame, then the frame will inflate. Period. Purple flashes and spots everywhere, completely unusable images. I decided to live with this quirk and simply moved the lights out of the frame to enjoy the lens' excellent performance. I was even tempted to buy a Panasonic case so it could reach its full potential! If you have a Panasonic case, just buy it and don't look back. From what I've heard the purple flare issue is unique to Olympus frames and isn't a problem unless there's a bright, concentrated light source in the frame.
