Review on ๐ŸŽ๏ธ Men's Speed Roller Skate - Chicago Skates Bullet by Brian Unruh

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good for a casual skate night

My nephew plays roller hockey at our local rink. He has been playing for the last three years since he was 8 years old. He is very good and very experienced and needs a great pair of skates to complement his skills. These skates were originally bought as a cheap pair for practice. ((I say cheap because some brands, features, etc. have skates over $200+)) After a few uses, we realized they wouldn't work for this. and would become an ordinary skate - skates. For the average skater they are perfect. The design is great, the materials are nice, the fit is good and normal for him, the bearings are strong and the wheels aren't bad for the price. The biggest disadvantage is "rubber" socks. They're too complex to be effective, but more importantly, their placement is useless. He was able to use them for a while before the angle put on them became completely ineffective. No, it wasn't an odd angle or anything to do with the user - skate stops wear out with normal use, that's their purpose. Eventually bad design led to this problem. That being said again - for a REGULAR night of skateboarding this is a good skateboard. I wouldn't recommend more.
