To pass the plumbing test, my newly installed, fully renovated well filtration and ALL the plumbing in my house was replaced. I wasn't aware of the need for an air pressure test of the system, which requires the system to withstand twice the design pressure of 50psi (which would be 100psi) for at least 30 minutes. In short, the pressure test failed. I traced it back to this Geekpure filter housing. I could literally watch the gauge drop to 30psi for a few minutes and then eventually nothing. If I bypassed the filter there would be no problem and my system held the pressure for over 2 hours before we manually depressurized. I tightened the canister as tight as I could and pressurized the system several times, but it never held. I have a total of five filters and one UV sterilizer in my filter set, and only one filter is Geekpure. All other external filters kept the pressure without problems. I had to analyze most of the filter array to get to Geekpure. To do this, remove the entire filter assembly from the back panel and disassemble 10 individual 3/4" pipe threads and four PEX fittings. This took several hours. It wasn't fun. Of course, there was a re-inspection (AND an inspection fee) that went through with no issues after Geekpure was eliminated. May I add that the mount was very flimsy - too flimsy to securely hold a 2 1/2" x 20" filter canister. Very disappointed. Very VERY disappointed.
