I would say so far so good. We had unexpectedly chilly nights in North Carolina in November and the old jacket was too thin for my kid at his outdoor school. I've been looking for a down jacket with a high down content and this jacket seems to be fine. For an 8.5 year old I bought a size 9-10 as our son is a big guy and fits well with plenty of room for a jumper if needed. I like the quality and the jacket seems well made. This is actually our second purchase of this brand as I can see in my order history, the previous one was for a zip up vest a few years ago; it is reversible, very practical and still in use. So I hope that the jacket will survive a few more seasons! The only thing is that there is no label or washing instructions on it at all. So I have to trust the seller's description here. And there's this weird thing where I honestly expected a hanger loop. Hanging the jacket doesn't help, there's no info - probably to leave room for a name tag, but I still want to put a loop there somehow.
