My son is 10 years old and in fifth grade. He loves blue and also likes the cuffs on the sleeves. The first day he put it on he told me he felt so warm and loved the hood. It can snap around his neck and he hides his little face in it. He usually argues with me when I say it's a cold day, put on your big jacket. But I haven't heard a single complaint.

One star is too many for this jacket. Zipper broke less than a week after receipt. Extremely bad quality. Would NOT recommend this product to other parents.

The photo shows a warm coat, but what you get is more like a jacket with no padding. Only fills in the neck and sweatshirt. I think this is false advertising. I will keep it because my son likes to draw, but I do not recommend a warm winter jacket.

I bought this coat for my youngest son and he got so many compliments. I think it's a little cozy, but he's 13 and growing all the time. Overall the coat was a great purchase and I would recommend it.

The coat seems to be really well made and heavy. I really wish that if the manufacturer bothered to include fake zipped bags, they would only make them really usable bags. There are only two real pockets. I see people complaining about the "J" patch sewn onto their arm. I took the seam ripper and took it off and you can't tell it was ever there. All in all a good coat I think!

My grandson wore it for a month and the zipper on the hood broke. He is very careful with his clothes. This is not good quality.

They look cheap, they cost $20, I paid a lot of money for them. I thought I'd buy coats for my boys and they look big they're plastic.

Nice coat but too big. My son is 6 years old (43 lbs) and we bought a size 5-6. He has to grow up with that. I can put on a coat and button it up, the sleeves are a bit short for me, but I'm 5ft 3" and 105 pounds. No, it's about a size 5-6 and it fits me better than him.

Bought size 13-14 for my 12 year old son. Fits, but would like something more. He won't be able to wear it for more than one season. He's fine. 5'4, medium build.

My son has worn this coat for three years. It's very warm and holds up very well. It is filled with down and therefore light. We've washed it several times and it always looks great. The zip is very strong which is also great, we had problems with the zips on other coats. My only initial complaint was that it was slightly larger than expected. But it has allowed him to wear it for the past three years. Can only recommend this coat! He will probably be able to wear it again next year!

Great for my active 10 year old. NO ONE cares about the plaster on the arm. I saw complaints about it but everyone kept commenting on how great it looked and asking where they could get it.

Well tailored coat. Got this for my 7 year old son and he loves it style wise. I love that it's a durable coat that keeps him warm and he really enjoys wearing it.

The coat fits my 6 year old son perfectly, he's tall so I'm a size 7-8 and it fits him perfectly with little room to grow hoping he can wear it for two winters. He feels good about it. I didn't understand or forgot that he had a letter embroidered on one of the sleeves, I think to give it a more sporty look. The zipper that attaches the hood to the jacket broke within a few days of wearing it and the zipper on the front of the jacket didn't last long. The jacket was also ridiculously large for her size. However, the jacket is quite light.

The 1st coat had a tear in the front, the 2nd seems normal, but the arms are as long as the coat, but it was supposed to be a "long" coat. I will say that this is a beautiful coat and it is very warm! My 5 year old GS is very skinny and a bit tall and 7/8 fits him with little room to grow in his arms! Not sure about its size. He's 5, weighs about 30 pounds? He is skinny.

I like the coat thick and cute. What I don't like is that the seller doesn't mention the brown letter (J) on the sleeve, I'm disappointed about that :( also my son likes the coat. I would be grateful if the seller would change (right) the product description information.

The zipper that connects the hood to the jacket is already broken. And I can't go back but it's only been 2 months. I thought it was a good coat but I will not recommend it nor buy it again

My son flinched when we took him out of the box. When he touched it, he said it was funny and he didn't want to try it on. When he tried it on; the coat was too tight everywhere. I didn't want him moving in it too much for fear it might break. I tried to send it back and the shipping cost was outrageous. The fees were at least 6 times the value of the coat. Pooh. DO NOT BUY THIS COAT!

Well-tailored, lightweight down coat. Grandson looking forward to wearing it on a snowboard. Disappointed zip pockets for show. It would be nice to have a secure place for gloves/mittens, cell phone etc. The hood doesn't look big enough to cover a helmet when skiing or snowboarding but it is removable.
