Hard to find 4P4C connector
This is not a standard phone line. Phone line connectors are usually 6P4C, meaning they are 6 positions wide with 4 connections or wires. This is a 4P4C adapter, a slim version commonly used to connect a handset to a phone base. My usage has nothing to do with phones. I installed a garage keyboard that uses 4P4C cables and used it for a keyboard extension.
- Also used in other telecom applications that require a 4P4C connector mated to the RJ9 specification.
