Works on standard landline phones, not on phones with caller ID

I bought this for daisy chaining short phone cords. It does it very well BUT NOT ON FIXED PHONES WITH CALLER ID LIKE MY ATT TR1909. It disables identification and date/time stamping, but still offers a clear voice. So I say that a good product is to put regular landline coiled telephone cords in series with a regular telephone like the ATT 210.

Hard to find 4P4C connector

This is not a standard phone line. Phone line connectors are usually 6P4C, meaning they are 6 positions wide with 4 connections or wires. This is a 4P4C adapter, a slim version commonly used to connect a handset to a phone base. My usage has nothing to do with phones. I installed a garage keyboard that uses 4P4C cables and used it for a keyboard extension.
