kind of works? for heating, cooling and air quality

So I bought this product to keep my 250 m². ft. The bedroom is moderately stocked with things (like bed and tables). The unit was placed in several different locations to try and heat the entire bedroom. On the days it was in use, the outside temp was around 30 and the bedroom temp started at 67 F. After running the unit for a few hours, it was able to heat the room up to 69-70. It didn't hold the temperature very well and worked more or less constantly. This device talks a lot about "infrared heat" but it uses IR to heat metal panes, NOT objects around it for radiant heat like a true IR heater does. Don't fall for this trick. For comparison I went to a local hardware store and bought a 1500w resistive heater for 25% the cost of this unit and an oil filled resistive heater. The cheaper resistive heater was just as efficient as this unit and could even be slightly better due to the larger fan. The oil-filled heater heated up much more slowly, but once it reached the right temperature, it worked for several hours and used only a fraction of the energy. Resistance heaters are incredibly expensive in the power industry. My electric bill went from my mid-30s to over 100 in the two weeks I've been using this device. (It's not a device fault, it's a technique.) The humidifier is "smart" but doesn't end up doing much. If you have problems with low humidity, it is better to use a special device. The design of the device is beautiful. It feels like exploration and seems well put together. It's a smart looking device, I just wish it could do the job better.
