From the front, I have to say I don't really like the aesthetics of the CD player mount. He's tall and clumsy. Due in part to my CD slot, it's a little intrusive and makes it difficult to tune in to the radio. I also don't like the vent mounts because I either have to block the vent to use them or put up with my phone receiving direct heat/AC flow. I prefer the brackets that attach to the dash with 3M. sticky, but all the ones I've tried have these pathetic weak magnets that just won't hold my phone in place while driving around town. I tried this on the recommendation of a friend and am very satisfied. I'm pretty sure I'll keep it - even though the CD holder strikes me as ugly and obtrusive - because of that magnet being as strong as it gets. It comfortably holds my iPhone 12 Pro Max even when driving through a rough city without pushing, slightly thinner and less chunky mounts just might not do the trick.
