Review on 🚙 Jeep TJ 97-06 Jack Hood Hinge Bracket by Warrior Products 1540 by Kenneth Bryan

Pros: The product is very durable and does the job. The included screws and hardware coating should work just fine with the corrosion-resistant tape. After installation, the product looks great. I was also happy to see that my TJ can still supply windshield wiper fluid with the jack installed. Cons: I have some issues with this product. 1) Quality control is not consistent enough. Both my dad and I have the same mounts and his welds are much cleaner and more consistent. 2) The designers should have re-drilled the holes and put rubber bushings in the fittings to keep the metal from touching. Or they should have at least included rubberized metal buffer washers. 3) I had to recut and recut the tracks on a mount. The starting thread was slightly kinked, so I had to "open" it with a thread cutter. It looks like they were turned on a lathe and an operator error occurred. There was a lot of dirt in the mounting handle and needed cleaning. Maintainability - 5 stars. Durability - 5 stars. Quality - 3 stars. Appearance - 5 stars. Price - 4 stars.
