🚙 Jeep TJ 97-06 Jack Hood Hinge Bracket by Warrior Products 1540 Review

This Jeep HiLift jack bracket was more expensive than many other similar products and more than I expected to pay for the bracket, but it is a very strong bracket. I'm sure the jack will stay in place. It's easy to install and looks great. I looked at all the mounts available and was very satisfied. I installed it on my 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.

Holds Hi-Lift securely and feels very solid. Attaching to the Jeep Wrangler hood is a bit of a chore as the mount, car mount and hood vents all need to be perfectly aligned. Not necessarily that easy on a car that has seen some signs of wear. The other tricky part is installing the hex head screws. The front one is easy enough with a ratchet, but the other two only need to use an L-wrench with a limited range of rotation because the top clearance is so small. Pros: The product is very durable and does the job. The included screws and hardware coating should work just fine with the corrosion-resistant tape. After installation, the product looks great. A few things to note beforehand: 1) If you use it, you can no longer lean the hood against the windshield frame when repairing the chain. Sounds pretty obvious, but I didn't think about it before buying. 2) It is possible to lock the Hi-Lift but this requires a cable lock. There appears to be a slot on the top for the lock shackle to slide through, but on my Hi-Lift the holes were not properly aligned to allow for this. Yours can align well.
