Holds Hi-Lift securely and feels very solid. Attaching to the Jeep Wrangler hood is a bit of a chore as the mount, car mount and hood vents all need to be perfectly aligned. Not necessarily that easy on a car that has seen some signs of wear. The other tricky part is installing the hex head screws. The front one is easy enough with a ratchet, but the other two only need to use an L-wrench with a limited range of rotation because the top clearance is so small. I think the only advantage is that when it's on, it's also difficult for thieves to steal it! After all, the gap between the hood and the jack is minimal, which limits the options for its installation direction. I cannot open the hood to the windshield with a jack.
