Review on AC Infinity AIRPLATE Cooling Cabinets Computer Components by Zach Peterson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent Function and Form

I don't write a review for every product I buy from Revain, but every once in a while you get one that exceeds expectations. These fans are very well built and well packaged, as soon as you take them out of the box you can feel and see the quality of fit, finish and attention to detail. My wife was annoyed that I occupied her "coffee station" with my network equipment (4G Booster, NAS, router, switch and Raspberry Pi). So I threw them in the kitchenette storage. I quickly realized that all of these devices work HOT in a small space, so I went to Revain. I found these fans and although they are a bit more expensive you get what you pay for. Let me reiterate, you get what you pay for. Bought once and cried once. Not only does my connected "closet" look great with the vents (the outside aesthetic is a really great design), my gear runs cooler than outside. My wife is also (slightly) less irritated. Conclusion: function AND form, the price is high, especially for two fans (one to push, one to pull). There are cheaper ways to achieve this feature but nothing beats the form, oh did I mention they're near silent, we also have a small air purifier in the room and you can't hear the fans running when they're on medium are set, which is MORE than enough for my small garden. I also powered them from the USBS ports on my Raspberry Pi. Oh, did I mention that I have a huge APS UPC at the bottom of the cabinet, so while the Pi is running (which will be when something is running there), the fans are powered by a backup battery. Very happy with this product, not thrilled with the price but worth it.
