Great little car for walking - great seller support

Bought to have while kayaking and kayaking or fishing from the shore. I think it would be good for ice fishing too, but we don't have much of that in Florida where I currently live. I had some questions about getting a PDF copy of the user manual with microscopic writing and my 60 year old eyes can't read it. They replied a few hours later and tried to get it for me but explained that there were different electronic sub-models in the circuitry and software design and it was impossible to tell which version would fit my car. BUT - by the time they got back to me I had tested it in simulation mode and it was so easy I didn't need a manual. I will use this to test possible ponds and streams for depth to see if there are any holes or fishing areas. Great that you can cast it from the rod. Shore fishermen will love it. It's round, so if the water is choppy it can cause the signal to change. I'll see if I can make something flat and castable out of foam, or if not castable that I can use when kayaking or jumping off a bridge so the round float doesn't rock as much. The thing I would change and I did change was the little edge where you attach a piece of string to tie or throw. It is very, very small and the tongue is very short. I took a 1/16 bit and drilled a slightly offset hole to make a larger hole where I can mount the snap swivel and NOT loosen the tongue. Be careful not to drill it in such a way that the outer plastic gets too small/thin towards the edge or cracks on the plaster. I figured it out and avoided it, but once you've drilled it it's too late unless you patch it with glue and re-drill it, but then it might peel off. around are not deep enough to hold the fish. Supplier support is unusual in this regard - I've had several emails with them and they always respond quickly. I looked at their other products and got one of their "Dry Bags" for my kayak. Again, I was VERY satisfied with the quality. It has straps that can be used as a backpack so you can carry your kayak and gear without having to carry a dry bag with stuff inside. Basic but I haven't found this with other dry bags I've used from other places before. The material in it is very durable and I'm sure it will last for many years unlike others I've bought. Therefore, I find their equipment good and their support exemplary. Thank you for your support and for earning this review! I will try to update in a few months after using it more.
