These are VERY thick, very soft and very warm. They are not knee highs but that is fine. The non skid pads are useful and they are not uncomfortable to walk in. Works well for slender feet and wide feet. I gave these to several family and friends for Christmas and bought a pair for myself. Everyone from teens to young women and senior women loved them!
