I got these colors for adding a little wit to some of my stress relief color projects. I don't paint with them, I only use them to add ornamental details. The point is that they are very good, so I doubt they will work well if you want to color a large area. I suggest you practice a bit on a piece of paper before applying the pen to what you are going to use. This will help prime the nib and also give you an idea of how the ink will flow out of the pen. Now that I see how well they work to accent my designs I plan to get more of these in different colors.
