It's well built but the cords are less than 3ft so you may need extension cords. It worked fine for the few days I used it, except neither the PC nor the Chromebook woke up from sleep with the keyboard or mouse. Sound and video were fine, and there weren't any issues with keyboard lag or anything like that when using the toggle switch. Again it seems very well done. I decided to return it because I wanted to control the sound separately. It turns out that you can set in the software (according to the documentation) that analog audio (not HDMI audio) always comes from the same system, no matter which one you're currently connected to. I do not know. Why couldn't I get the keyboard or mouse to wake up any system (in the few days I've been using them), maybe changing the BIOS settings or using their software would help at least with the PC.
