Review on Ultra-Thin Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard with Numeric Keypad - Multi-Device, Rechargeable, Gray by Andrew Agarwal

Good industrial design, possible quality or technical problems with the space bar

The visuals and the industrial design of this keyboard is great. Very similar to an Apple designed product, right down to the font on the buttons. The keys stick out higher than we'd like, but that's a personal preference. The keys are also pleasantly clicky without being mushy. BUT, the device I received has a broken spacebar. When the spacebar is pressed, only a firm press results in a registered hit OR the press must be in the correct place on the key. As a mechanical engineer I can say that this is either a manufacturing quality issue or a technical issue. This is either a defective sensor on the diaphragm or the wrench is not designed to hit the diaphragm with the correct force. I had this keyboard for 5 minutes and I wanted to like it. Unfortunately I have to return it due to this problem.

Pros
  • Ultra thin keyboard
Cons
  • Small things
