I bought this recorder to use for my lectures at school. I am in a program that is evolving very quickly and in 6 weeks it will take a lot of study to learn that much. This recorder does its job quite well and lasts quite a long time on one set of batteries, which is good because I'm forgetful enough to remember to change them often. However, it doesn't have many lectures on it, which is a shame and I ended up having to delete some of them when trying to record the current lecture in class, but if I paid attention to the details of the product, I probably would have known before buying and maybe chose another one with more memory. However, it's easy enough to transfer the lectures to your computer if you keep up with it. The recorder also offers a menu with many options, most of which I don't understand and probably don't need to use anyway. With a little time you can sort your recorders into folders or do whatever you like.
