Always drive. Especially if you're attending a microbrewery or an 'after event' this is an excellent alternative to a skintight Lycrex that shows off all your cycling gear. You look great. Nicely made pockets and good airflow/bike comfort. The separate underpants are well tailored - they support you and the pads don't move on the bike saddle. I'm your Hauptmann 5ft 10in 175 lbs US and although you normally wear medium sized boxers it is highly recommended that you go plus sized when ordering - not so much on the shorts as on a medium padded piece (my humble opinion) too tight. As they are, they look and feel good for a long ride - and you don't necessarily want to get rid of them afterwards. I only wear them. Had to order 2 more for a linen change (and all hold up with regular/heavy use).
