Decent tool but needs some work

This worked well on my 2011 BMW 128i and the cap fits well. I don't know how the other caps work, haven't tried them yet but I'm hoping to use one on my 2012 BMW R1200RT bike. You just need to make sure you test it for leaks before adding any liquid. I recommend some soapy water or Windex to check for air leaks before adding brake fluid to the canister. Otherwise you'll see brake fluid leaks everywhere that shouldn't be redistributed. After using this I realized I could probably make one out of a $20 garden sprayer. All I need to add is a pressure gauge, cap and fitting on the master cylinder. If you could measure the pressure of, say, 5 pumps on an air pump, you could probably even do without a pressure gauge. Guess I'm too late smart. The manual for the device is not very good. A dialog page and no charts. How to unscrew the pump handle from the screw on the canister lid was not clear to me and it wasn't in the instructions either. You have to push and turn. The unit also features a fixed position brass fitting between the canister and adapters that does not rotate like an O-ring air fitting. If you put the master cylinder cap on instead and then tighten the fitting, you'll end up with a twisted rubber hose. It's not a good setup and they had to use fittings that could be rotated as everything has to be bolted down. This bothered me and made me give this tool an average rating. With a little thought from the manufacturer, this could easily be the "wow" tool that will make your day because it would be so easy to use. Too bad.
