Type of review

I bought the kit because it says it has everything you need to inflate your car, that is NOT true. The cap fixed to the caliper bleeder is missing, it is not included in the kit although it is indicated (see photo). I had to order separately. The product is good but the description is misleading.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Do you like swimming in brake fluid? This is for you!

Leaks, leaks, leaks quick connector? What is that? I REALLY wanted this bleeder, but the negatives outweigh the positives. Yes, it will bleed some brake systems! negatives; Leaks, cheap plastic adapters that leak, no quick disconnects on the hoses (just try to put it together without the brake fluid getting anywhere). Did I mention brake fluid is leaking everywhere?

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Doubt

The tank was pretty easy to use. I used a rectangular plate on my Master Cyl. I read all the negative reviews about chains so I decided to try something else. Instead I used two bar clamps (trigger type). Much easier than dealing with that fragile chain and it was quick. I've held 15 psi with no problems. It was nice to just be there and see when the blisters stopped. I'm not sure if I really need all the attachments now, but it's nice to have them in the future.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some minor issues

It works out. Best in Brake Tools

First, it really works. The next item on the list is a giant mess! every time For this money it is worth it. The universal round adapter works very well. Universal rectangular adapter. Well, let's just say it will work if you're willing to work on it. Don't be afraid to tighten the bolts until the brake fluid stops bleeding. If that thing starts whipping again, tighten it a little more. and I mean tight. It will flow. There will be a mess. But if you have the patience and learn to deal with it,

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not the best

Works, don't skimp - get an adapter for your car

I just used this to bleed the brakes on my 2002 Silverado with a universal round adapter. I was finally able to make a good seal with the adapter, but I'm sorry I didn't purchase the GM metal adapter. Eventually, brake fluid squirted past the universal adapter from the top of the reservoir. Everything seems solid but I was very disappointed to find plastic shavings from drilling a hole for a pressure gauge in the bottom of the tank. I'm glad I noticed them before I pumped them into my braking…

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Don't really like it, it's ok

You can't beat the best DIY brake bleeder

First I tried several other DIY brake bleeder systems so this isn't my first experience or the first product I've tried. the Motive Bleed System because it costs a lot more than others I've had. However, all others did not work very well. They were dirty, required two people to operate, broke easily and some required an air compressor. So I took a chance after reading many good reviews. But I was still skeptical because other systems had good reviews too. Either way, Motive Products' 0250 Brake

Decent tool but needs some work

This worked well on my 2011 BMW 128i and the cap fits well. I don't know how the other caps work, haven't tried them yet but I'm hoping to use one on my 2012 BMW R1200RT bike. You just need to make sure you test it for leaks before adding any liquid. I recommend some soapy water or Windex to check for air leaks before adding brake fluid to the canister. Otherwise you'll see brake fluid leaks everywhere that shouldn't be redistributed. After using this I realized I could probably make one out of

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Operating speed
