Review on Holstein Parts 2ABS0788 Speed Sensor by Cody Mckechnie

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very high quality replacement parts

While restoring the underside of my CR-V I cut the old sensor's wire. I had no idea how expensive the cut would cost. Anyway I ordered this and a pair of them and I was really impressed with the quality and completeness. It seemed very well built, great for living on the floor of a car. Also, it came with every clip that the OEM came with. Which, while very nice, is almost certainly not even useful. If you can remove those clamps from the old wiring harness then all the power is yours, but I don't see how you can. However, the fact that they are there is a sure sign of quality, so I'm certainly not complaining! In terms of functionality, I sadly found that while my All Seasons were great for the snowy north, they weren't as effective. in torrential downpours here in Texas. (Where the roads aren't completely destroyed, leaving plenty of drainage.) The result was handling issues AND ABS activation. That last symptom is pretty good proof that they actually work! So yes, they are a bit pricey for something so simple. But when it comes to quality, you get what you pay for.
