I love this hair color with a perfect rating of 10. for 10 minutes. says what is necessary. I have medium brown, thick, curly hair that goes down my chest and it takes me two boxes to fully cover my hair (it actually took me about 1 1/2 bottles of hair dye). Great color if you want to add some red to your color. your hair, but not too red
