Bought medium and large. The average has too short arms and waist for a skinny tall 8 year old. The large was almost good for the arm length, but overall it just didn't fit. The material is thinner and not as thick as other brands we like, but not the material our other banana swim shirts are made from. Unfortunately, there's no return policy, so it looks like they're switching to someone else.
