Good option for fast carriages

I have a 'temporary' saw and don't want to spend a lot of time (or valuable hardwood material) making a homemade carriage that may soon not fit my new saw. I got this to allow myself to do some small projects for the upcoming winter. In general, I was impressed by the set. The rails are shorter than I would like, but overall they make a good sized sled for most people. For those who want to build a sled with this kit, I recommend making the sled wider on the side of the table (usually the right side). and either order an additional T-bar or double the T-bar on the longer side. This allows you to install a stop block for material longer than 12 inches (which is common when building closet doors etc.). t track. Take a good square piece of wood and cut or channel a rail for the rail, then spend your time and energy getting that square to slide. Once that's done, simply attach the support block to it and secure.
