We bought this last year to capture/prevent theft of Christmas decorations before our decorations went up in price. It worked so well we kept it and have been using it every day since. This is great for an 'early warning' of a package being delivered, especially when no one else is ringing the doorbell so we know when someone is walking down our aisle. The external sensor is charged via the solar panel, so no wiring is required and the internal receiver is always powered via the splitter. We never have to charge the external sensor and don't have to worry about the batteries in the receiver running out because we just leave it plugged in. when bushes need pruning (because leaves are growing in the path of the sensor). Very happy with this purchase!
