Two sets purchased. One set had one sensor, one base, the second set had two sensors, one base. My intention was to have a base on both the first and second floors and all three sensors activated both bases. Each of the three sensors had to be placed at the end of the driveway, at the top of the driveway, and on the porch. Tried to find a good entryway monitor. After a few others who had problems with connection loss and poor motion detection. This is very easy to connect, it can even be set up with multiple receivers so I can see/hear it in multiple places for maximum convenience. Can't say anything about batteries yet as it's new to me.
