I was reluctant to buy this for my 12 year old daughter. She kept asking for one because all her friends at the overnight camp had one. Instead I bought her an amazing Olympus (Tough) digital camera that takes amazing pictures even underwater, has wifi and is tough enough to use on camping trips, camping etc. BUT there is no electricity in my daughter's cot, so keeping the digital camera charged was quite a challenge. It also seems like a lot of fun to instantly enjoy a Polaroid picture. I understand. I was young when the first Polaroid instant cameras came out and yes I know it's fun. So I finally gave up. My daughter was and still is excited about the camera and the whole set, but I just don't get it. The pictures are TERRIBLE. I actually think the original Polaroids from the 70's took the best shots. If you want to satisfy a teenager's whims, feel free to buy this. If you're looking for a camera that actually takes decent pictures, don't buy it.
