At first I was skeptical about the quality of the $10 product which has a strap for my $700 phone but on the recommendation of a friend who bought one I took a chance . Luckily, I can find that my phone didn't. I rode the phone on the mountain for more than 4 hours over potholes and speed bumps and at speeds in excess of 70mph. Keep in mind I don't have a windshield and I was particularly concerned about the wind resistance blowing the phone off its mount. nope Bracket has been tested and works great. Very easy to install. The only thing I can agree with other reviews is that you have to fiddle with the straps to keep them from pressing the volume buttons, but that's a mild annoyance at worst. I'm considering buying one of these for my ezpass day next time.
