This unit works just as well, if not better, than it sounds. I know I've only used it once but the results have been great. 6.25 lb chicken - shredded and left in the fridge for a few hours. After filling the container about halfway with beer, set the grill to indirect cooking and set it on the closed lid. 90 minutes at 350 came out moist and tender. The chicken comes out easily, but I'd recommend having a helper hold the bottom while you scoop it out with a couple of forks. I sprayed it with nonstick spray but it washed off easily with soap and water. Stainless steel instead of chrome is the only way out.
