My wife thought I was crazy about kitchen drawer organizers. Three things bothered me; 1) Overall build quality, 2) 100% Bamboo construction including base/floor and 3) Overall height. This product has all three flags! Yes, this product was about $10-$15 more expensive than some others, but it's well made, solid bamboo construction on every part, and it's one of the few drawer inserts that gives you an overall depth of 2 3/4 inches. . Remember that the depth is "the total insertion depth, not the actual depth of the compartment, which is something you need to understand as this type of product gives you the ability to adjust the width and some height clearance is required to do this provide special feature. Every other manufacturer also offers adjustable width dimensions and has the same mounting/height issue BUT most other manufacturers only offer an overall depth of 2 inches so this one definitely beats them all! Another nice thing is that this device has silicone feet. the bottom so it doesn't move in the drawer so it doesn't slip when you open the drawer quickly. Another nice thing is that they offer you two bamboo leaves as spacers that can really turn into a rock. solid landing. Bamboo is easy to work with and if you cut the leaves deep enough they will separate along the cut line, eliminating the need to use a saw to cut the bamboo leaves. Time will tell if it will hold up, but based on the way it was packaged, how it feels in the hand and the general appearance of the build quality, I suspect it will last.
