So, I'm still waiting for an answer from Tripp-Lite support to my question, but I think I'll write a review now , as this is a very short-sighted move on their part: the documentation is very poor. KVM works, I can connect my Dell WD19TB docking station to "PC1" and my gaming desktop to PC2. Due to how the dock works, I had to play around with the refresh rate a bit to get my second monitor to work (which only works with the dock, not KVM, but I think they have a model that can display two displays if You want ). ), but that's not because of the KVM, it's because of the design of the dock. I have confirmed that my gaming desktop also runs at full 1440p 144Hz resolution and nVidia GSYNC compatibility. I can't speak for "GSYNC Ultimate" or other tiers, my monitor is a "compatible" FreeSync/GSYNC model. Everything seems fine. However, the dock has SEVERAL ways to switch between PCs, and at least one of them is a huge pain. There are buttons to select the PC you want, which I prefer. Hovering the mouse over the right side of the screen for 2 seconds will toggle. No confirmations or anything, just toggle. My second monitor is on the right side, so it keeps changing when I try to drag the window to another screen. There is no information in the documentation on how to turn this off. There are also hotkeys listed as Scroll Lock. but apparently the ctrl key ALSO acts as a hotkey, so pressing ctrl twice just puts you in "waiting for hotkey input" mode. Again, there is no information in the documentation on how to fix this. I don't mind using hotkeys on KVM, it's actually quite nice, but using multiple keys as hotkeys is weird. To me it looks like badly programmed firmware. I'm willing to wait for an answer from support on this, but anything other than "How to turn it off" results in me getting it back. I didn't even try to use the remote control because. Honestly, if you need to enable FOUR different ways to switch between two PCs, you need to rethink your setup a bit. UPDATE: I got a reply from Tripp-Lite today. -- The mouse bypass function and the hotkey function on this KVM cannot be disabled. These features are built into the device and cannot be disabled/disabled. Your satisfaction is important to us and we look forward to serving you in the future. - Well, I'll be back. It's just bad design. I think this isn't an issue for some users, but the lack of foresight that some people might not like it and the lack of an option to turn it off is a big gap in my book.
