There are reviews of this and other HDMI versions of mouse and keyboard emulation to enable hot buttons and switch mouse to side screen between devices, which is not good . This KVM is a bit imprecise in the documentation which is why some people are having trouble with it. I have a much higher end KVM which I replaced with this Tripp Lite model thinking it might perform better. It's better in every way. But you need to know how accurate is DP 1.4 through KVM.
