Kind of bought these as a "happy accident". Was looking to replace the ends on my R-134a set and thought these would screw onto the hose ends. Different threads, but all wasn't lost because I'm able to used them with my old R-12 set. Now some are probably going "arrrggghhh no need" and they would be right except for the exception where someone was switch back to R-12 and had R-134a ports, there's is a pressure difference between the two and with R-410. So now I don't have to undoing the R-134a adapter ports to check R-12 or R-410 etc. And what the hay it was $12. Cost me more in gas to return them.
