, I was very impressed with how easy it was to replace the old Badger 5. The old one was at least 10 years old and started licking. It stopped working one night so I hopped on the Revain to have it delivered within 36 hours. I read a few reviews, watched a few videos and felt comfortable enough to do it myself. I usually stay away from anything plumbing related as water and leaks are among the worst things that can happen in a house. I had a brand new Badger 5 installed in 30 minutes. I strongly recommend buying a device with a power cord. I didn't have to change any pipes because it was essentially the same unit/set. I didn't bother to remove the old mount either, as this brand places a lot of emphasis on how easy it is to swap out blocks with mounts. Very satisfied and cheaper than going to Home Depot and/or hiring a plumber.
