I bought this mic because I wanted to replace the mic with my old Turtlebeach mic headset and also wanted the mic to sit on a desk instead of a headset mic. I originally wanted to buy the Blueyetti mic that all my friends (gamers) recommend for voice chat, but at the time I didn't want to spend more than $100. I found the sound quality and microphone sensitivity amazing! It was just under $30 when I bought it and I was expecting poor sound quality, but it was a huge improvement over my old Turtlebeach headset. My friends have also commented that my voice always sounds clearer when I speak. The microphone can be adjusted up to 180 degrees when unfolded (see illustrations). A nice and unexpected feature is that it only uses your computer's USB port, while other microphones require a USB port for power along with a "mic-in" port. It also has a mute button that changes color from blue to red to enable or disable the sound. I gave this product 5 stars because it was relatively cheap and provided better sound than I expected for the price. He's also very sensitive to my voice (I usually speak softly) so I don't have to raise my voice too loud when others are sleeping to be heard. Overall it exceeded my expectations!
