2006 Jeep Commander 4.7L V8. I had engine codes as well as engine revs spikes at idle, very fast idle on cold starts, weird shifting at low speed, no load. Research has pointed to the throttle position sensor as a possible cause. Due to the low cost of this non-branded part and the ease of interchangeability (and the convenience of following the process on Youtube first), I went further. This part seems to have cured diseases. CEL has been down for a few days since I changed it and it's working fine.
