Review on Method Ginger Mango Laundry Detergent: 53.5 Ounces, 66 Loads - Effective Cleaning Solution by Russell Hodzic

Tried on a friend's recommendation; who said it cleans well and its concentration is so low compared to traditional brands. I feel the product cleans but the value of the cost saving depends on the materials that are typically washed and the frequency. Based on the information I provide below I find this to be the most cost effective for loading light materials; Less storage space due to concentrated formula, lightweight and clean. Suitable for people who cannot lift heavy bottles. Whether this is economical for large loads or when washing heavy materials is not yet clear. I do a lot of laundry in a double load commercial machine every week. As with conventional detergents, the number of caps used depends on the size of the load and the density of the material being washed. I used 4 hats to boot with a blanket and 2 or 3 other small items. I've used 4 to load mixed material (cotton, polyester/cotton blend) scrubs, sweatpants, and jeans. But to load all the heavy white cotton fabrics - socks, towels, underwear - I used about 6 capsules plus 2 other conventional detergents and bleaches. These were great. For the other load, which almost filled the washing machine with a mixture of fabrics, I was sweating: jeans, socks, kitchen towels, etc., I used about the same amount of detergent as for cotton laundry. Unfortunately, the load came out with soap residue and had to be washed again for rinsing. In comparison, if you look at how many machines were loaded, you might think that a larger load would require more detergent. I also use white vinegar or borax detergent booster with every load.
