This governor was a wonderful gift for me. Good sleep gift. I have three cats who enjoy doing what cats do best - RUN AT FULL SPEED EVERY MORNING AT 3:00 AM. To prevent them from walking in my face and waking me up in an hour, I closed the door. You think that's all, right? That it's so easy. NOT RIGHT. One of my cats must have an extra AF. He's too bougie for closed doors. So he grabs the door with his paw and DIRTS IT. 24/7 One night I didn't sleep at all and cried because the next morning I was very tired from work. Then my husband told me to buy a doorstop and see if it works. I knew I had kept him with me for a reason. I chose this one because it was cheap and looked like it would do the job. AND IT DOES. That bad boy keeps my door locked all night. In the last few days that I've been using it, I've never been woken up by the banging of the door. It's probably good at keeping doors open too, but ok, just trying to keep my CLOSE CLOSE.10/10 rating.
