I spent $200 on this portable scanner - it's really not worth it and will be returned. Scan quality is poor - shaky lines (which should be straight) and when scanning text documents the fonts look like they came from an old fax machine - thick, grainy and undefined. Keeping the page straight while it is being fed is also a problem with these small, handheld scanners. Most often it turns out that the scan is slightly tilted. After that, there's no way to set it up with the software, just scan over and over again. While the scan itself is quick, having to repeat it multiple times (and still not looking good afterwards) is a waste of time. For less money, you can buy a flat-surface printer and scanner combo—even the cheapest ones do a better job. to scan.
