Excellent prophylaxis for elderly parents. I wouldn't believe that 10 months later we would still be living with COVID but unfortunately it's still here. My father is older and has several pre-existing conditions, so I am very worried. At first he did not sit in isolation at home, but over time this began to affect his psyche. Now several visitors come to him. They wear their masks and then he uses this lamp when they leave to sanitize the kitchen table. He usually just closes the room and waits a few hours before returning. There is a distinct odor, but it dissipates. It's very easy to use. You simply turn it on with the remote control or manually. It works for a certain amount of time and then turns off. It has a 15 second delay to give my dad enough time to leave the room and secure the room. This allows him to still have company, but also protects him. I am very thankful that I can still see him and I am not afraid that I will bring him the virus. These are very difficult times but the peace of mind this lamp gives me is priceless! This is a great tool! When my kids go back to school, I'll get one for each of their classes.
