Catches hair effectively

This review is for Danco Bathtub Drain Hair Catcher Snare and Strainer, White, 1-Pack (10306). Make sure there are no hairs in the tub or shower drain. The holes are big enough for water to drain (provided you remove hair consistently - leaving the hair trapped will prevent drainage just as much as letting it in and clogging the drain of course) but not big enough, to let the hair through . Additionally, the notches on the surface of the trap are a nifty way to add extra assurance that hair doesn't get through the holes. This is probably the most effective trap I've ever used. The product is very easy to install. I like the pen - it's very easy to pick up, hold, etc. Cons: The material is thin and the edges curl a bit. However, I manage to suck her back into the tub well enough to keep the trap effective. bathroom cleaner, otherwise the underside could get moldy or mildew, just like the inside of your drain. Very easy to remove hair; Not sure if the other reviews make this that difficult. Do this when your hair is still damp or do it when your hair is dry; Anyway, I've never had a problem, and my hair is about 1.5 feet long. My trap changed color almost immediately. I live in a 130 year old house with moisture and mold issues so that's my disclaimer but it usually takes at least 5 days after I've cleaned the tub for any evidence of orange mold to reappear. This trap turned yellow after about 3 showers. I don't know why, but it's pretty unsightly even without hair in it. These are all pretty minor issues. My biggest issue with this siphon is that its effectiveness makes cleaning almost impossible. Because I have such a severe mold problem, I have to clean everything in the bathroom once a week to keep it from turning orange and slimy. I try to clean this trap (remove hair, spray detergent, scrub top and bottom) every other day, but it completely destroys my lips with its nicks and is too thin to brush. that means I'll never be able to really clean it up. If I could find a hair trap with a drain as effective as this, but in a nice gray color that is easy to clean with a sponge or brush, I doubt I would ever use anything else. .
