Review on Polycom 2200 07880 160 SoundStation 2W Non Expandable by Tania Swenson

The product is as advertised and I am satisfied. The base station is about 8 feet from the phone on my desk, and conference call clarity is excellent. Two notes: 1. If you want to connect your iPhone to the speaker, the included connection cables (2.5-2.5mm) won't work; You have to buy 2.5 for 3.5. I spent an hour trying to find it, which diminishes the value of what's on offer here. 2. My SoundStation came with European power plugs only. Since I live in California, they are useless. I called Polycom customer service and they started shifting the blame to others. The fourth guy finally referred me to a reseller who sold them to me and shipped them quickly. The reseller was in business, but the folks at Polycom were desperate. I ended up paying another $26 for their mistake and once again I wasted a good 45 minutes of my time. Network, good equipment, lousy customer service from Polycom, good service from their reseller GBH Communications. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I won't have to deal with Polycom customer support again in the future: a scary thought.
