Great Bang for the Buck

I bought this wheelset from their eBay store because they don't offer a Boost 148 rear wheel here on Amazon. I've ridden them about 300 miles, the wheels are solid and great quality. I run Bontrager 29โ€ณ XR4/XR3 2.3โ€ณ tires on them and they run great at 20/23psi. Definitely feel the difference as soon as you get on the bike compared to my OEM wheels which are 21mm internal and 28mm external. The front tires with the OEM rims were 2.355 inches at their widest point (knob to grip) while the rear tires were 2.255 inches. After replacing the same tires with these new wheels, the front wheels are 2.425 inches and the rear wheels are 2.352 inches. The weight is quite high at 4.0335 lbs (1830 g) fully assembled with tape and valves, but that's mostly due to the 32-spoke front and rear wheel arrangement that I wanted. I could have used lightweight 24/28 spokes instead of the included heavy duty spokes to save 150g+, but I just wanted a setup that I can install and forget as it would take a little while before these wheels didn't match reality . EDIT: 2017-01-10 1 year in review In fact they are as good as new after just over a year. I drove them probably 1100 miles and changed 2 sets of tires. I have attached pictures of the Maxxis Minion DHF 2.5" (2.56") and Arden 2.4" (2.43") tires. I don't do too many big jumps and weigh 160 pounds with gear so I'm not the heaviest rider. The only issue I had was the rear hub creaking so I just lubed it and it was gone (200+ miles ago). .EDIT: 1/24/2018 2+ year review I did a lot more in 2017 than I did in 2016. I have also been to several DH Bike Parks with my bike and did 5 rides over the summer. I rode 1700 miles in 2017 so I put about 3000 miles on these wheels and hubs and climbed to about 420,000 feet. The bearing is original, the spoke is not yet broken. These bikes are pretty bulletproof but the rear wheel needs some adjustment but it's not bad and I still ride them 3 times a week at the moment. Please note that I live in sunny Southern California and wash my bike every 2-3 months as it never gets muddy and only needs a wipe down with baby wipes. I wouldn't expect these bushings to last anywhere near as long in rainy and muddy conditions where you have to constantly wash your bike.
