I bought this latch to replace a broken one on my wife's 2011 Volkswagen Tiguan I went straight to the installation. Installation takes only a minute and fits just as well as the original part. I had to make slight adjustments to the hook on the body that engages the latch, but it only took a second to loosen and tighten two screws. I gave it 5 stars because the quality of the part is as good as a factory latch and it's only $30. The dealer wanted more than a hundred, and German online parts stores sell for $80. I am very happy with my purchase.
