After waiting 6 months for another product I decided to buy this Ausdom AF640 webcam. I plugged it into a USB port on my Windows 10 computer and it worked straight away, displaying a great image in the Windows Camera app. As other reviewers have pointed out, the image is wider than comparable webcams, but that's not unacceptable; I didn't notice any noticeable optical distortion like the fisheye effect seen on some webcams. The color rendition of my face was natural, so I gave five stars for "warmth". Then I tried the Ausdom webcam live on Zoom. Surprise! Zoom automatically cropped part of its wider view, so the online result showed more of my face and less of my surroundings. I received fewer HD pixels than I sent to Zoom, but visually the result was what I wanted. And the Ausdom mic captured my voice perfectly in the Zoom recording and playback audio test. The mechanical mount on this webcam is better than many, with a ball joint that allows for left-right, up-down adjustment. It even comes with a specially designed stick-on protective cover; I attached it right away and will keep it. Good job Osdom! I recommend this Tit in Hand product if you are still waiting for another bird that is stuck in the bushes. The only thing this webcam is missing is additional software that comes with some other webcams that you don't need for Zoom. I would like to add that I did not and will not receive anything for this review.
