Good paper at a good price

I chose these Artecho Watercolor Paper Backing Sheets because I've had good experiences with other Artecho painting supplies and I'm happy to report that this is another good thing was, for $10.99 (when i bought mine) you get 24 sheets that come as 2 notepads of 12 sheets each. The paper is acid free and has a standard watercolor paper weight of 300g. These are blocks not blocks, a plus for people like me who prefer gluing paper for those nice clean white borders that frame my photos and some blocks make paper separation difficult. I found this paper to have a nice texture that looks very nice when painted dry on wet with a fairly dry brush. It is also good for wet-on-wet as the color spreads well over it. It creases when wet, but literally every 140 lb watercolor paper I've used, including 100% cotton paper. I found that unsoiled colors were easy to remove and I could do a light cleaning without damaging the paper's surface or causing pilling. This paper worked and also worked well with pencils, graphite blocks, and colored pencils. This paper. The price is reasonable, the paper quality and sizes are good, and the Artecho representative told me that this paper is vegan. Watercolors look great on it too. I feel like I've found another paper worth using and because the price is so cheap I can use it to experiment with new colors and techniques instead of using the more expensive paper , as it is quality paper with a nice texture and not worth it. expensive . per dollar sheet.
